Night Travel is Dutch-Iranian Sahand’s personal story. He was only three years old when his mother woke him up and told him they had to flee Iran through the mountains. His own adventures are combined with folk stories that his father told him: this heritage was all he could take from his home country. His story gives children an insight into what it means when you have to leave your home country and start all over. Sahand is accompanied by live music on the qanun, a traditional string instrument. This performance can be booked in English and in Dutch. Deze voorstelling kan zowel in het Engels als in het Nederlands geboekt worden.
