Mithila Mohan is a visual artist and creative teacher. Her work is inspired by imagination, nature, color, and artistic discoveries. Using a wide range of visual art techniques, she stimulates creativity, self-expression, and self-confidence in artists of all ages.

Art Classes & Creative Programs

Mithila offers inspiring art classes, workshops, and creative programs for both children and adults. In a warm and accessible environment, participants have the opportunity to develop their artistic skills while simultaneously discovering their own creative voice.

Art lessons for children

Young artists learn to discover art and creativity through play. The lessons offer a screen-free environment in which children develop their imagination, learn to observe, experiment, and create unique works of art.

Time: Every Saturday from 10:00 to 11:30 (except summer and school holidays)

Location: Reykjavikweg 1, 2548 VA, The Hague

Age: 7 – 18 years

Level: From basic to advanced

Program: 8 lessons (2 months)

Art lessons for adults

Creative lessons and workshops in drawing, painting, mixed media, and artistic exploration. Suitable for both beginners and advanced students; no experience is required. Discover your talents and develop your own style in an inspiring environment.

Topics covered:

• Landscapes

• Still lifes

• Drawing animals

• Abstract art

Techniques and materials:

• Acrylic paint

• Watercolor

• Texture techniques

• Painting with a palette knife

• Pencil sketches

Mandala and Indian Folk Art Workshops

During these workshops, participants are introduced to traditional Indian art forms such as:

• Mandala

• Madhubani

• Warli

A creative and social experience where patterns, symbolism, and the use of color take center stage. The workshops offer space to learn new techniques, meet other participants, and create art together.

Group workshops for schools, organizations, and events

Mithila provides tailor-made creative workshops for schools, cultural organizations, companies, and special events. The activities are adapted to the target group, age, and wishes of the participants.

Summer Camps for Art

During the summer holidays, Mithila organizes inspiring art camps where creativity, curiosity, and fun take center stage. Through practical projects, children discover various art techniques and develop their imagination, problem-solving skills, and self-confidence.

Workshops on Request
