The Hague Culture Cafe: CultuurSchakel x CreativeMornings

Op donderdag 18 juni 2026 vindt de achtste editie van het Haags Cultuur Café plaats.
Het Haags Cultuur Café is dé gelegenheid om andere kunstenaars, cultuuraanbieders en creatieve professionals uit Den Haag te ontmoeten. Een ontspannen avond om nieuwe mensen te leren kennen, ideeën uit te wisselen en inspiratie op te doen, afgesloten met een borrel.
Deze keer bundelt CultuurSchakel de krachten met CreativeMornings om de creatieve gemeenschap van de stad samen te brengen. Of je nu performer, schilder, organisator, ontwerper, muzikant bent of gewoon nieuwsgierig, je bent van harte welkom.
Op de Zeepkist
Naast de borrel is er ook ruimte voor Op de Zeepkist. Dit is hét moment om in maximaal vijf minuten en met een microfoon iets te delen met alle aanwezigen.
Dat kan een spoken word-optreden zijn, een akoestisch nummer, een fragment uit je choreografie, een prikkelende vraag of gewoon een leuk nieuwtje of oproep. Twee microfoons, vijf minuten. Spontaan, rauw en inspirerend.

On Thursday, June 18, 2026, we are back with the eighth edition of The Hague Culture Cafe.
The Hague Culture Cafe is all about connecting with other artists, culture lovers and creative professionals from across The Hague. It is a relaxed evening to meet new people, swap ideas and get inspired by what others are working on, topped off with a drink of course.
This time, CultuurSchakel is teaming up with CreativeMornings to bring together the city’s creative community. Whether you are a performer, painter, organizer, designer, musician or simply curious, you are welcome to join.
Op de Zeepkist
Besides the drink, we will have a moment for Op de Zeepkist which literally means ‘on the soapbox’. Think of it as an open floor where you get 5 minutes and a mic to share whatever you want.
It could be a spoken word piece, an acoustic song, part of a choreography, a big question you want to throw out there or maybe just some exciting news or an open call. Two mics, five minutes max. Spontaneous, raw, inspiring.
